THE REALREAL FILM AND EDITORIAL
Students were instructed to work in groups to create an editorial film and layout dedicated to any brand of their choosing. Our group decided for this assignment, to portray that art students are not as lazy and privileged as most university collegiates believe them to be. We chose to represent the company of The RealReal. Being students, shopping on The RealReal is a much easier, accessible, and affordable way to shop for luxury in your early twenties. The company typically does not come out with print advertisements and their commercials tend to be very product based. Our group decided to use our creative freedoms to change the way that the company typically advertises, into a more relatable and personable story to encourage younger people and working students to shop on their site.
